I took a bucket list motorcycle ride with my 84 year old Dad, from Crested Butte, Colorado to Vermont at leaf peak.  I rode mostly backroads, took a 5x7 painting box, rode 6000 miles over 4 weeks, and made 22 little paintings. Here are some  pictures and paintings from the ride.  All 22 paintings are visible on shaunhornegallery.com.  Look for Shaun's motorcycle ride in works by artist.

Absolutely a wonderful and memorable tale. Thought no one west of NY knew abt Schenectady where GE nurture many electrical engineering graduates. My father was one, thus my birthplace. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful amazing trip Shaun! And your paintings really capture the magnificence of the colors! Please come visit in Taos sometime!

Shaun,
Thanks for sharing this journey with your Dad and daughter. What a blessing to share that memory together and capture the beauty and colors of fall. You are so talented. Inspiring stuff! All the best to you.

Shaun, this is so cool! I love seeing a photo, and then your painted rendition. And of course I love that you and Linda spent some time together on your bikes, and painting. Also so special to be with your dad for such a memorable trip...way to make it all happen!

The Single Chair painting is my favorite! Great story, great paintings. Thanks for sharing.
